In My Own Voice
“In My Own Voice” is the first platform dedicated to women who have undergone hysterectomy to tell their own experience in their own words. No one speaks better for women than they can speak for themselves.
When denied the factual information required for “Informed Consent” women are blindsided by the unexpected damaging consequences of hysterectomy.
Every courageous woman who makes her voice heard is part of the solution. They are the voice of change. Routine removal of the female organs must not become the legacy of the next generation of women.
“Whenever one person stands up and says, ‘Wait a minute, this is wrong,’ it helps other people do the same.”
Gloria Steinem
Yes, I want my voice to be heard.

“You don’t have to pay the price that we paid to understand our loss.”
Harvey Milk
Letters
“It took me quite a long time to develop a voice, and now that I have it, I am not going to be silent.”
